Portsmouth Muay Thai is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive training environment for all members. Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.
We believe everyone has the right to train in an environment free from intimidation, harassment, or abuse.

What Is Bullying?
Bullying is behaviour that is intended to harm, intimidate, or upset another person. It can occur in person, online, or through other means.
Bullying may include:
Physical bullying

Verbal bullying

Threats
Emotional or psychological bullying

Cyberbullying

Expectations of Members and Coaches
All members and coaches must:

Treat others with respect

Support a positive training environment

Avoid behaviour that could upset, intimidate, or harm others

Follow gym rules and code of conduct
Everyone shares responsibility for maintaining a respectful environment.
Reporting Bullying
Anyone who experiences or witnesses bullying should report it to a coach or staff member as soon as possible.
Reports will be:

Treated confidentially where appropriate
Parents and guardians are encouraged to report concerns involving junior members.
Responding to Bullying
Portsmouth Muay Thai will take appropriate action, which may include:

Suspending or terminating membership
Action taken will depend on the seriousness of the situation.
Protection from Retaliation
No individual will be treated unfairly for reporting bullying or raising concerns in good faith.

We aim to support any member affected by bullying and ensure they feel safe and comfortable continuing training.
